I Hate It When People Don't Take Care of Their Pets

Inheriting Cats... When I was a kid, we used to live in a complex. When you live in a complex, you don't really have much privacy and everyone knows exactly what everyone else is doing. The complex did allow pets so a lot of people brought their pets with them when they moved there. Everyone would more or less know which pets belong to which owners but that sometimes changed.

Cats aren't like dogs, they don't stick with owners who don't treat them well. And from time to time such cats would appear in our unit. We always had cats ourselves, and the other cats would come into our home to eat our cat food, since they weren't being fed at home. If our current cats didn't seem to mind their presence, those cats would eventually move in with us. Choosing their owners ba<x>sed on those who actually feed them. I guess that is why our cats have always been fat, and the skinny cats that moved in became fat quite quickly themselves.

We never minded inheriting the cats of our neighbors as long as they behaved. I liked it as a matter of fact, as a cat lover. I just find it sad that they had to leave their original owners because they had been too negligent to feed them. We must realize that our pets need us, they can't do everything for themselves. And if we don't give them what they need, they will leave us. They deserve better.

One of the saddest things about pet neglecting is not feeding them. Its nice that you took the cats in, I would also do it myself.
