I kinda think Otis nailed it.

Otis nailed it for sure, but in fairness to The Black Crowes, they really didn't do a bad job at all. They just aren't Otis. Almost anyone else would have suffered by comparison had they tried to cover this.

Otis nails it every time. There is no contest in this one. Now- Otis doing "I Can't get no) Satisfaction"--he may LOSE on that one. But even he has a lot of energy in it.

@sunnypersuasion: To be fair, early in their career the Stones did a few of Otis's early numbers. Perhaps this was Otis returning the homage. The Stones did this on "The Rolling Stones, Now!" . Check it out. Otis's first big charting hit. (and one that gets forgotten about far too much!)

I adore this song, either one. Otis is legendary, and the Black Crowes did a kick ass version. One of the few songs, where I don't have a preference to a particular artist, or version.
