I Am Truly Very Lucky
When I think about it, I really am lucky. Although I’ve had some bad experiences in life and they have been terrible; I haven’t been sailing through life on a dreamboat, I’m still quite lucky to live where I live. The fact I have water, ready whenever I need it, enough to take a shower and even to play with when I was child is already a huge indicator of how lucky I am. We didn’t always have lots of money as a child but we still go through, we managed to go on holidays every now and then, to keep our house and our car in the road. We always had enough food in, none of the children ever went hungry even if we lived off of home cooking, we never did starve. We always had electricity and gas (even if we did go over the bill sometimes) and I have a beautiful family to support me. I’m also lucky to live in the UK because as a Christian I could run the risk of being prosecuted if I lived somewhere else, particularly parts of the Middle East and Africa. I’m also lucky to live in the time that I do where the health care is great so illnesses dont have such bad effects as they did beforehand. It might not have always been easy for me growing up but I was still incredibly lucky
