Ok I think Ive won part of the game of life [I Am Autistic]

I grew up with undiagnosed autism, still cant read body language or any social cues to save my life and at my job people constantly compliment my communication skills. I work in sales. I am proud of this but I also think it’s hilarious and I feel like I am kind of winning right now because I don’t know how people perceive me and I don’t care to know and I’m just being myself and the strategy is working

Hey, fellow neurodivergent here! Working world can be such a challenge, but isn't it great when you find something you excel at?

Someone with autism working a job directly dependent on your people skills, I don't know whether it's more brave or crazy. Being actually good at it is even more amazing. Perhaps you're on the lighter side of the spectrum, my friend with autism has had trouble with people all her life because of her behavior that's odd at times, so she sticks to working with kids, that's where she shines.
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic just crazy af and i need my bank account to reflect the effort i put in. At least theres justification for the daily sensory overload.

@bittybear Yeah also that, she can't work for longer than 5-6 hours because she gets overloaded, that's why she can't get an official job but more of volunteer work and government aid.
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Theres very few people that can. 8 hours is standard but people bs around at least 3-4 hours. Ive learned nothing is as “normal” as it looks
