I Need to Vent

In this roleplay section someone (not going to say the name) said: “I want to be raped.” And I’m like “dude, no you don’t. You’ll be scarred and have ptsd for life. My boyfriend got raped and he’s still suffering. Plus since he’s behind me and read it he’s triggered.” I don’t get why some people are insensitive.

Generally they are desperate for attention and saying something shocking like that is there way of getting it.

Exactly. But it also triggered me even though I didn’t get raped. When I was younger I watched my boyfriend getting raped without helping him because I was weak and scared. I was crying. After it was over he told me to come over and hugged me and I apologized for not helping him. Whenever someone says they want to get raped though it triggers me. @gmatthewb

@Leonkuwataismyboyfriend I do understand and it will take a long time to heal from that, even with professional assistance. A lot of us live in societies that are very selfish. Most people only care about themselves or those who can do something for them. A lot of people simply don't care how their words can hurt others. I am sorry to here that you and your boyfriend have gone through such a terrible experience. I hope you're able to comfort each other and get some help. It's good you have each other through the healing process.
