I Need to Vent

[c=#002673]Once upon a time, my stepfather was taking my mother to work. I went along for the ride, and on the way wanted to stop at the corner store.

This corner store was near a middle school I went to. So naturally I would see fellow schoolmates in the area. Some even lived just minutes away from the school. But this group I saw, was a small collective that bullied me back then.

As we pulled up in our mini-van.
They walked into the store I had plans to go into. Now I can't recall if I went in, or changed my mind and left. But the only thing I can't forget is when I mentioned that those were the people that were bothering me in school.

My "mother" made it clear that she didn't care and that she had to "go to work". She sounded so annoyed after me saying who they were. I got absolute silence from my stepfather.

It hurt after hearing that. Still hurts every time it pops up. Just yet another reminder of who has never been in my corner with me.[/c]

Yes sounds like my childhood. Afraid giving birth to a child does not automatically make you a mother
