I Need to Vent
So, clearly my darlings, I need to vent. I'm sorry if some of this is too long, boring, or just straight up doesn't make sense. This is also a long story, so buckle up, buttercup.
Last night, my friend sent me a picture on SnapChat saying "Chick Chick Chick Fil A!!!" (She had a coupon and was very excited.) Well, due to the fact the this message could mean anything from "I'm going to Chick Fil-A with my boyfriend, and I just wanted to let you know." to "Come with us to Chick Fil-A!" Usually, it is the latter, so I assumed so. (It really is true what they say about assuming things.) I sent her a message back asking if that was an invitation, and she never responded. So, naturally, I went to Chick Fil A. I waited in the parking lot for almost half an hour, and she never so much as opened the message I sent her. My phone reached 1%, and I called my mom with the little battery I had left asking for her advice. After all, I didn't want to receive a message once my phone was dead that they wanted me to come after I had decided to come home. She told me to come home, which is precisely what I did. I was extremely upset however, that my friend failed to communicate with me, and I had wasted my night on an assumption. It was late, and I still hadn't had dinner, so I went back to Chick Fil A and sobbed (UGLY CRIED. I literally couldn't see through my tears the entire way there, and I don't know how I got there safely.) the entire way there. After the whole ordeal, my friend finally messaged me back saying "I just wanted to let you know we were going." Then I said, "Oh, okay." She then replied "Wait, did you go?" And I told her the whole story, which she found at first "Hilarious" and then "So sad." So, ducklings, if you've made it this far, answer me this: Why am I so stupid!?
