I Hate Lying

As much as I hate lying, like most people do, my biggest pet peeve is where and when people think I'm lying when I am not, and think I just say a bunch of BS. I even abhor it the most when people say if my lips are moving that I am lying cause that don't make any sense at all.

I don't believe in superstitious legends. I don't believe in common misconceptions. More to the point, I don't believe in everything I'm told and hear that may not be true at all.

With that being said, I don't believe in the superstitious legend that if a person is moving their lips that they are lying. There are plenty of ways to figure out if a person is lying or not instead of saying "it's if he's moving his lips," because that is just way too easy to say from there.

Just because we are moving our lips, it doesn't necessarily mean that we are lying, because moving our lips and the sound coming from our vocal chords is exactly how we talk. Again, there are plenty of ways to figure out if a person is lying or not. One way, if a person is taking too long to respond, especially if just looking right at you, eye contact, starring contest, it could indicate he might be looking for a response which might be a lie. If he/she has a suspicious look on their face, then they might be trying to hide something and might be lying thereafter. One last time, there are plenty of ways to find out if a person is lying or not, but it's never to say if a person's lips are moving, because it's far too much a common misconception and a superstitious legend, and thereby should be believed as it would be way to easy to be believed.

So how about this: don't tell me if I'm moving my lips that I'm lying, let alone just talking BS, and I won't jump into any wrong conclusions and accuse you of something you didn't do from there whatsoever. Deal?

Any negativity, removed and blocked.
Its a statement of condescension. A way of verbally disarming you. It underminds anything you wpuld say and above all is just a rude and cbildish statement to make.

@Pixiering Exactly my point.

@Pixiering So childish, even a 7-year-old would know that that’s ridiculous.
