I Am Very Selective When It Comes to Letting People Get Close

Due to extreme abusive situations as a child where I was kept isolated and alone most of the time It has become hard for me to be around alot of people or have anyone in my space for long and feel confortable. Has anyone else experienced this? I need someone that brings me peace maybe.??
