I Feel Old

Took the kids down the golf driving range to hit a few buckets tonight on this fine UK summer evening.

On the drive home I put Heart FM on and listen to the Saturday night playlist of club yesteryear. Windows down the DJ puts on David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over."

The kids break in to song and seemingly know every word. So I ask them where have they heard or learnt the song before? They look at me as though I'm some kind of Plancton and tell me its from Forza? I ask them what the hell is Forza to be reliably informed its the xbox game i got them for xmas.

Im getting old and i dont like it. And my back aches from the range.

Sawwry, I can only say this because you're probably younger than me.

@pennynoodles no I think I'm older than you, we've had this conversation before. My age on SW is a year behind where it should be. I had a melt down about turning 50 several year ago and put it back a year. Lol.

Perhaps you are then. My memory fails me........must be my age 😜@Ironicman
@Ironicman Keep taking mini breaks while working. Sleeping posture wud need attention & the hard bed is recommendable to rest. I try to stay away from medicines. Some Ayurvedic oils help me. Don't think you'd get them there.

@pennynoodles 🙂

@sspec i will look into that. Is it something you take or apply?
@Ironicman Latter and rarely do I use them. Have tremendous patience to bear till it goes away on its own with some yoga posture practice.

@sspec great to hear. I was asking generically how the oil is taken
@Ironicman Raw Coconut oil is generally consumed for memory gain by many. For such ache relief, applying essential oil on the body part is the remedy I know about.
@Ironicman Check Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana) of Yoga & see if you can try it gradually for back pain relief. It worked for me.

@sspec thanks, i just watched a couple of people on youtube and tried it out. It felt good. If I can walk tommorow will keep doing. In the meantime i must go to amazon to order some yoga bottoms.
@Ironicman 👍 Baby steps forward.
Even if you feel the body is exhausted, you should continue what you already started. Takes time to get familiar with one's long forgotten flexibility.
