We women in the house have given our fellow housemate Mike his ultimatum concerning his sexist, harassing, and ugly behaviour towards us, and he seems to have taken the severity of the situation to mind, because yesterday he only emerged from his room to cook himself his meals. He seems quite chastened!

He is writing his dissertation as he will graduate in the Spring if he can control himself a little better. He has been here with us since we were second year, he is the literature student and he has been wrapped up in reading the various literary works that his course requires of him. He has a very analytical mind, which is the troubling aspect of this, and he ought to be able to discern how serious his misogynistic behaviour has been.

Still I am troubled because he has been very tactile with me (where he hasn't been with Caragh, the other girl involved) and he may still be so ugly as to challenge us to keep our word, that we will get the Gardai the next time!
