I Think More Parents Need to Tell Their Kids No

There are many ways to tell kids no, but not all of them are effective. When you do it, it’s important to show that you mean it.

Best to be firm and give a definite answer such as a yes or no followed by an explanation why. And make it crystal clear that you won't cave it to all the begging and whining. It is totally fine for kids to experience uncomfortable emotions, like sadness and disappointment. In fact, saying no to his/her demands give them an opportunity to practice dealing with feelings.
Agree, but mine would take that time to explain to me why exactly I was wrong...😉
