I Know That Life Goes On

It was 1750, I had my everyday activities to go on about. I saw a mailboy bring me the goodnews of my cousin's wedding. I felt a lot happy for the next 3 months.

months passed, I received the news of tsunami hitting the neighboring country. I felt sad for all the people affected by the calamity.

Next 9 months passed, was happy again to visit the new member of my family, my niece was born.

It's 2019 today, I opened Whatsapp, tons of forwards and statuses with a variety of news. I am high for a second and then feel totally bad about another thing the next moment. When I was a kid, simple gestures excited me and now, even big surprises fail to have it's intended effect on my mind.

Where am I heading ?

Not easy to live in 1750 anymore
uforia · 22-25
@Rambler after living in the 19th and 20ies.. It's impossible. But then, people had their own comfort
Rambler · M
Yes they did and maybe it was better @uforia

@Rambler it was more eco-friendly
Rambler · M
Certainly. Although the eco problems were already beginning in some parts of the world@uforia
uforia · 22-25
@Rambler yes... But exponentially less.

That’s right @uforia

@Rambler if only Tesla had found AC current and generator before fields were discovered. The world be less cancerous place right now
Rambler · M
You’re right about that ... now so much to undo @uforia
uforia · 22-25
@Rambler we don't have enough buffer to undo.. Only look for cure. There's no more room for prevention.
Rambler · M
Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the outcome? @uforia
uforia · 22-25
@Rambler realistic ?😅
Rambler · M
Lol. We shall see @uforia
