You might want to get your facts right.

Mr. Rogers became a minister and was assigned to the particular ministry which he created on PBS, his "Neighborhood" show. It seems you never saw it--I did not, at the standard time for it--but, if you ever HAD, you would have seen a guy who tried to explain all manner of hard things to children, showed them his friends, the characters in the Land of Make-Believe, and crafts, etc. He offered a comforting, safe "space" for children; in some ways, he was the daytime equivalent, for children, of what Walter Cronkite was for adults in the evening news.

And before you go running to the "he killed x people in some war & had tats all over his arms", a quick fact check will show you THAT is also bullshit.
