I Remember Being Young Wild and Free

Reading some responses here to the younger members and I think maybe a few here forget what is was like when we were young and thought we knew it all.
Yes they haven't really lived enough of life yet to learn the lessons most of us have learnt, but they will in good time.
Don't be so hard on them or put them down,remember we were like that once to and would we listen when told anything different from an elder...Nope...

Silentspectator I can understand it if the "adults" have something constructive to say or sound advice, but not those that patronize and start abusing these youngsters if they don't bow down to what they are saying..I love my kids but they think they know it all in their early 20s and yes boy do they have a lot to learn still in their own way by making mistakes just as we did..

Prim, Perhaps a genuine concern makes certain elders say what they say to the 'growing ups' though they are well aware of them also being in that wild stage. I've appreciated you since EP times and this post of yours is understandable.

very true point. i guess its our natural reaction to warn of the pitfalls like the previous generation warned us........but youre right....we didnt listen too much either
