I Am Smart

I was really naive when I first came online. I took everybody at their word, thought everybody came from a healthy, good place in life. I had a huge wake up call.

I have been lied to, played, cheated on, and used. I am thankful for the bad experiences. Why? It really opened my eyes to people's motives, good or bad. It made me people smart beyond anything I could have learned in real life.

I can ascertain really quickly whether someone has a dishonorable motive. Being online has made me trust my gut more. I have gone against that and paid the price.

It is not that all people are rude or up to something but we all come online with different reasons and agendas. I have learned to listen to what is being said but more importantly what is not being said.

Facts told add up to stories. Look for the clues that don't add up. You will save yourself a whole lot of heartache.
