Altruism is generally good but be smart when lending your hand to help. Don't help those who are ungrateful you'll end up hurting yourself . Pathological altruism will wreck your psyche. Above all, help yourself before helping others. Then focus on your family. It goes without saying blood is thicker than water. When you're on your deathbed one or two relatives might show up. Friends by and large are attracted to you in your prime.
