I Love a Good Tv Series
Right now I'm watching the 2nd season of The Medici, this second season is about one of my favourite historical figures ever, [b]Lorenzo[/b] "The Magnificent" De Medici, an important political and economical figure of his time in Italy he was not a 'noble' but he was a real Noble, and de facto the ruler of Firenze.
He was the heir of a powerful family of bankers, I Medici, and had many enemies, his actions influenced the powers in the Church of Rome, the whole Italian peninsula and kings around Europe.
Despite being the most skillful stateman of his time and a great scholar, his real contribution to History is the fact he was the most prominent mecenate of [b]Reinassance[/b], he was the patron and friends of one of the most important Artists and Intellectuals of humanity, figures such as Sandro Botticelli, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Leonardo Da Vinci.
