This used to mean something and now I want to break it.

We got this our first year married. It used to represent us and it meant a lot. Now it means nothing and I don't want to look at it anymore.
Maybe it could be read with alternative meanings.

When stuff is made from synthetic fabrics, it symbolises what is fabricated.

When images are cutesie, they symbolise a romanticised view, something that cannot be real.

The image of two baby deer suggests the ultimate in the vulnerable (they are prey for carnivores), innocent, and naive.

Two baby deer might frolic together in their youth, but it is all over within a year or two at the most - and then the realities of adulthood and staying alive set in.

Most youngsters marrying for the first time have no idea what they're letting themselves in for. They are so certain that they will manage it better than their parents did. Very few do.
Take a hammer to it out back.

Or put it out of sight, packed away.

Leave it on that ******s front step.
