I Want to Be Accepted For Who I Am

I want you to understand and accept me for who I am, not who you want or expect me to be. Accept both my strengths and weaknesses. Be patient with me. I'm not always the easiest person to get along with. I am confident yet insecure. I am strong, but weak. I am fire and water. I am the rising tempest on a dark, brooding day, yet I am also the sun that replaces the dark clouds when the storm has passed. Sounds confusing, right? I am a mix of many things, a very complicated person, but if you are patient with me you will get to know me and understand me a little better. Don't try to make me into what you think I should be,just accept me, all of me, no strings attached. No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, everyone has flaws. Look past mine and you will see me for who I am, not who you THINK I am.
