I Am Insecure Around Rich People
I Have A New Take On Things Now...... Well, there are rich people around me. And there are tradesmen making a living. See, I thought about those tradesmen, and their shabby appearance and calls telling people they had no money for baby milk. Then I thought about other tradesmen who charge more, and have better lives. They are "making a living" for themselves. What sort of living is dictated by them.
That is what rich people have done, but to a larger degree. They are creaming profits off people. Or, making a living for themselves - the living they want to lead. A choice. Just the same choice you and I have chosen to ignore.
So, now I am less insecure around rich people. I like this because it's from We Are The 99%. I also like it because it shows me things about myself that are not altogether easy for me to see without guidance. So, thanks to @AndrewPenney for his responses to my 1st story in this group, I am moving forward every day towards taking the reins of my own life, and making my choices instead of having them made for me.
