I Love Writing Letters

I love writing letters (or long emails and messages, if need be) to people I like to converse with. Writing allows me to clearly and precisely express myself. Written language is beautiful in that you have time to compose each and every sentence and choose every single word perfectly. Writing focuses the mind in a way not many other things do, and I sincerely hope it will never go out of style.

Wonderful. To me, writing is like my second voice. Instead of speaking, I write. It makes me calm and I can express everything I want, thoughts, feelings, without even need to speak.

@SW-User Yes, exactly that! I also think that where other people have this inner voice that speaks their thoughts, I have an "inner writer" rather who composes them. :)

Well said. That's one of the reasons I like chatting with people on here. I have time to formulate my thoughts before sending them off, and I also get to express them fully, uninterrupted.

I agree with you. I am a fan of the written language and it has been always truly the best way to express myself.

Sadly in today's time most people don't put their focus on written things (letters, books, whatever...). 😥
