Do your parents like the same music you like?

I think the only group both me and my parents like are the freaking Eagles

As far classic rock goes, my parents and I share similar tastes but they're a bit out-of-touch with newer music. Although I've been able to turn them on to quite a few modern bands. Mainly ones that are accessible or sound like classic rock, they don't care much for anything else. Although much to my surprise, my mom likes some of the indie pop bands I listen to. 😱

lol..My parents liked Lawrence Welk. But my mother did say once that she liked Willie Nelson's voice, but I had to swear not to ever repeat that. eh, she has passed, what can she do now.

My parents only listen to country music, which isn't my favorite music genre. I do like some older country songs, though.
