I Heard This Song Years Ago

[c=#800000]I heard a song several years ago, and then again today for the first time in many years. The music sounds similar to the J. Geils Band. The lyrics include the words "baby girl." I think the gist is a younger girl has a crush on an older guy, and he is trying to brush her off. Similar to "Go Away, Little Girl" in that respect. [/c]

Donny Osman sang several versions of Go away little girl. The early versions are far far different than the much later versions.

There's a Scottish Rock band called Belle and Sebastian who had a song called You're Just a Baby, the lyrics were somewhat along a similar surmise as what you described.
