Stunning drums. As sharp as a cracking whip.

(I wanted to share 熾天使 -Séraphita- :/ )

I know they synthesize the fuck out of his voice, but I'm partial to Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Tatsumi Her voice. It's a woman.
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@CrazyMusicLover ....I really don't think so. >.> Not unless women grew Adam's Apples and got twice as muscular and lost their boobs. o.o

@Tatsumi
Alright, I have no idea what you're talking about now.
It's not about the song I posted, right?
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@CrazyMusicLover Noooo. She's obviously a woman. It's the band I mentioned. Maybe I should have posted the video from the start, but it has screaming, which some people don't like; so, I'm hesitant to post stuff like it.

@Tatsumi Oh my bad. I'm sorry, I just didn't know Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas is a band. I got it confused with the movie and therefore your comment didn't make much sense to me. 🤦 I understand now.

Interesting band. A good example of globalization though. ;) If I ignored their language I'd think they were an American band.

@CrazyMusicLover Haha, yeah, it is. I didn't think about it beint ambiguous, before posting. They picked an interesting name. ^^ Not quite the same genre as yours, heh.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Tatsumi Yeah, I remember this genre was very popular among my peers when I was 14-15 (2007-2008). 😁 I'm not familiar with it so much but I've always associated it with emo style because a lot of teenagers who listened to screamo and metalcore styled that way. Now when I think about it, maybe the whole black emo fringe thing was derived from Japanese visual kei.

@CrazyMusicLover That I have trouble taking. You can't compare metal and emo. :( I mean, sure, some emo bands scream. But, but, but. Bllllleeeeeeehhhhh. I just threw up a little.

The song you posted seems more goth, to me. Wait. Were you talking about FALILV or your song?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Tatsumi :D well...Do you take it so seriously?...I'm sorry then, blame those kids who mixed the fashion and music genres as it suited them.
You would have to teach me what emo is as a music genre. I know it more as a style of clothing and some expressions of self-hate, self-loathing and suicide culture. I just remember that kids who identified with this "lifestyle" talked much about Bullet for My Valentine, My Chemical Romance and bands similar to them.

Apparently, I'm not the only one... 🤷

I was talking about FALILV. Gille' Loves are presented as goth or maybe positive punk (?). I've heard that the term "goth" appeared in Japan much later. Most bands of 80's that were influenced by British gothic rock bands (Bauhaus mostly) played the style that was called positive punk.

@CrazyMusicLover You're the music lover, bro. You should know more than me. BFMV is *not* emo. -.- Goth is closer to emo than metal is, if you ask me. Emo-ness has no degree of badassness. MCR is definitely emo, though. People are much too apt to call anything with any degree of emotional expression "emo". In that regard, music as a whole could be called emo, because you won't find a lot of stoicism in music, since it is pure emotional expression. I don't know what emo is, aside from the, as you say, suicide culture, self-hate, pathetic whiney bitches, etc; I just know what isn't emo.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Tatsumi
I'm not a music expert though.
I don't care what is emo and what isn't emo. It doesn't offend me personally. I listen to music that I like and if you prefer to call it emo, then call it emo for all I care.
Badasseness, whininess...I don't discriminate. The only thing important to me is whether emotions presented satisfy my needs.
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@CrazyMusicLover Okay, fair enough. To me, "emo" is like, the worst possible thing a person could be. So, I take it insultingly. Sorry.
