I Have Something I Just Have To Share

So I was reading my econ textbook, and it was talking about Repugnant market, and apparently, in the U.S, it's legal for a pregnant mother to give birth to a baby for another couple for pay. If they mean surrogates I'm all for it, and if a surrogate is the case why is U.S. one of the few countries that allow it?

Well one thing I know is that the free market, individual choice, and capitalism are more important than almost anything in our leaders decisions.

Why we dont try to have Universal Healthcare? It would hurt capitalism.
Why our meds cost 5x yours. Same reasons

Why we can not even think about being tougher on gun ownership-
free choice, individual rights and yes capitalism

Why our schools are not equal, varying greatly by neighborhoods and states, even the curriculum that is taught-
States individual rights, choice

Those 3 things guide our country's ethics and framework
