The Black Blade.
Fire glows upon the dark walls as mystery encases the souls who gather.
Magic and death never sleep where lies a world of fairytale wonder.
Evil woods devour a cozy little inn
An old man smokes a pipe while a dwarf woman takes orders.
Blood covered armor bares a knight who enters from the cold.
A blade of dripping blood he totes over his plated shoulder.
Cutting the wizards throat he asks the dwarf for a beer.
Screaming she heads for the door but his sword meets her back.
"I'm looking for a child." The knight asks the room as the woman hits the floor.
Chaos rose and more blood spilled before he got his answer.
The girl was hiding behind the crowd under protection from her mother.
She begged and pleaded with the knight not to take her daughter.
But in the end the entire inn had become a slaughter.
Screaming for the loss she bore the child began to glow.
A blade of light met the black knight before he could strike.
His armor cracked and broken he shed it from his skin.
Ready for the power he struck once again.
Screams echoed out into night as black absorbed light.
unconscious lay the child innocent and pure.
Swirling mist ate away the room and all it's bodies.
Black blade in hand the knight remained and pierced the childs beating heart.
Death took pain as her soul faded into dust.
The inn and girl were stolen by a haze and the knight stood over an old witches corpse.
