I Love My Brother
When we were younger my brother and I weren't close. He's 5 years older than me, but he wouldnt take care of me like a regular brother would.
When I would get bullied at school he would laugh and say "dont be a p****" yet then again I was smaller than everyone else.
It wasn't until 3 years ago that I told my brother what had happened to me. Ever since then he has blamed himself saying he couldve stopped it or he had a gut feeling but just didnt believe it.
Now we are close I supported him through all the way when he graduated from the police academy, to becoming a police officer. Now he's pushing me to be EMT/ Paramedic. Ever since I told him, hes been out there for me. pretty much being a brother, and I'm thankful for that. better late than never. He's my only brother and we suffered together. I'm grateful for having him in my life...
