I Go to Art School

I am back here for my third year. My first year was Access. To HE. And this is my 2nd year degree in Jewellery and Ceramics. It is so where I want to be. I know everyone and everyone knows me. And in art we learn off each other!

Thank you. Things are good at the moment. We just started all our new modules. It’s so exciting. Everyone in my year at college is so pleased to be back! @Ian123

@BlodynHafJones Good to hear. You are very lucky to be in this position. Take Care 💐

I know. It’s taken a long time to finally be where I want to be! How are you and what you like doing? @Ian123

@BlodynHafJones I am working voluntarily at a charity at the moment. Been doing this for some time and its good. I used to do a magazine and do presentations for Age UK and feel as if I would like to get back to that next year, although not for Age UK. It would have to be voluntary though as am getting old now 😀😄

Don’t be silly. You are not old! My Mamgu is 91 and she ain’t old! And I love you work for a charity. I have Diabetes type 1. Diabetes UK and the people who support it have given me quality of life. In turn I support the Savannah Education Trust who educate and feed the poorest people in Ghana. @Ian123

@BlodynHafJones Work voluntarily for Cancer Research, both Mum and Dad died from cancer. Thanks for saying Im not old 🤗 Its good that you are doing something for the people in Ghana

I am so sorry about your Mam and Dad. And so pleased you are working hard to fight against cancer. One of my friends has ovarian cancer and she’s so young. It’s so sad. And another is on chemo. It’s so lovely to talk to you. Because working together we can defeat all these things. I am now on a pump and my blood glucose is so much better than when I was little and injecting myself. It’s all because of Diabetes UK giving money for research. @Ian123

@BlodynHafJones Thanks, Dad died of throat cancer, he couldn't speak at the end and Mum died of stomach cancer. Cancer treatments are getting better so lets hope it continues. Glad your diabetes is getting better. Good talking to you too and message me if you like to let me know how things are going for you
