I Am Watching the World and Thinking
The Wildest Fire
by: Rob Paquin
I watch the world turn
And I see the world burn
I see all the world teaching
With no one to learn
It burns everyday
Just a little bit more
Selling off people
Like more meat in the store
The propaganda has flourished
While protestors receive lables
Give it up to the rich
For leaving scraps in your tables
I look down the road
And all that I see
Are slaves to the powers
That won't set people free
The ism's have risen
Coming forth like the dawn
But the light that sun's shining
Is casting shadows too long
Nations in chaos
The world tilts on it's axis
Science refuted
And no one cares what the fact is
We sprawl like a virus
We take from the planet
And we give up the freedoms
That we we're born with. Not granted.
