I Like Random Questions

Life doesn't have an absolute meaning. It just is. I have advanced degrees in cell biology and know how much of it works on the molecular level. How life works is known in much better detail than most people imagine.

As for subjective meaning - yes, my life has meaning and a sense of purpose. I have friends and try to leave situations better than I find them. That gives my life meaning.

Imagine two groups of animals, one set are nihilists who don't try to strive and the other are purposeful and driven, which group do you think are more likely to have and nurture their offspring?

I don't think anyone has a soul or other mythological force like a ba or dharmic ghost or anything.

Mythology is stories, yes. I usually keep the word 'lie' to mean someone is trying to be untruthful.
