im doing a research project, and ive decided to do it around science fiction and the role actual science plays in it,
(science fiction is literally everything from Fallout games, and robocop to Wall-e, frankenstein, Back to the future and inception

but for a start all i wanna ask is:
how do you feel about real science and logic in sci-fi films/books/tv shows/games? is it important?

I like having explanations for things in sci-fi... Like how in Star Trek, they at least come up with fancy words and processes to explain their tech... And Star Wars doesn't explain anything which annoys me.

Those were honestly just the 2 first sci-fi's that came to mind and they aren't even the best ones... I feel like an idiot now but I'm too lazy to pick amazing sci-fi's that fit the criteria for my explanation
