I seriously have trouble believing what is real or what is a fiction of my imagination. Hopes are a fiction, love is a fiction, happiness is a fiction, the pain is surely real, the agony is real and the suppression is real.
The mind tricks us to believe in what's real and what's not. We tend to make ourselves believe in things that aren't real in the first place ignoring the realities in life.

@canusernamebemyusername good point. Technically everything sort of “hovers” between objects, but we still perceive it as “touch”.

There are some things that just are. They cannot be seen any other way. Those I call hard factual realities.
And there are those realities we concoct by our perceptions and by what we are being made aware of in any moment in time.
The subjective ones that can be seen in different angles.
