Yes! I have seen some episodes of this! I used to love 'Babylon 5'! I saw some episodes of Star Trek (a newer series) which were awful as no-one was blasted with photon torpedoes and there was a woman in it who was always wanting the crew members to talk about their feelings! Ugh!

@EugenieLaBorgia Counselor Deanna Troy from Star Trek:The Next Generation? She was the empath who was also trying to make everything emotionally based. But, they definitely had episodes where the phasers and photon torpedoes were used in Klingons and Romulans among others.

I value DS9 for its military strategies and in general, continuity in characters were was bright and likable. However, the religious bullshit with Bajoran beliefs and the emissary non sense of aliens got on my nerves in the end.
