What was the best decade for tv?

1950's with I Love Lucy and Leave It to Beaver
1960's with Bewitched and other such things, oh The Twilight Zone
1970's with sitcom heaven plus Mission Impossible and stuff like that
1980's with such sitcoms as Family Ties and hmmm some other things
1990's with Cosby, Simpsons, and company
2000's with Wolf Blitzer and the one who met your mother? I dunno!
2010's with .... as if i'd know such things, fooeey!!

I voted the 1960’s. The 1950’s were great, but I think TV was in its infancy and many improvements (color) (hi fi) and cool new shows were made in the 60s

50's to the 70's.
Every decade since has just been a re-hash of things our Parents/Grandparents have already seen.

I think "now". That's not to fault other great TV shows of the past, especially because what could be expressed was so limited in terms of more adult content. The playing field isn't level. Twilight Zone and the comedy of people like Ernie Kovacs will probably always be heralded as great work, no matter that they are 60+ years old. Great drama and great storytelling and great comedy really doesn't have a "time".
