@PlumBerries I didn't know they haven't shown it on netflix here yet? I downloaded it from the US, but have only seen one episode. Best series ever i think.

I watched Narcos: Mexico in like a day. It was interesting and based on a true story as well.

@justanothergirlonearth Actually to be perfectly honest, my sister was more of a prison break fan, I watched the first 3 seasons around the time when it came out, because my sister kept talking about it constantly. 😆 I stopped halfway through season 4, because it was getting boring for me (they weren't breaking out of a prison no more 😄).
But this summer somebody told me that season 5 was so awesome (it was a new season, after many years), so I decided to rewatch it all, 4th season included to have a better understanding of season 5.
Anyway, it was cool, but still I think season 1 was the best.

@Dan193 Narcos: Mexico keeps being advertised for me too and I loved the original Narcos so am probably going to binge on this one.

@GlassDog Same, I got recommendations of interview videos on youtube, with the stars of the show speaking about it. I hadn't watched the original, but the actors seemed very likeable and the story sounded interesting. Plus everyone in the comments were saying how awesome it was, so I thought why not. I didn't regret it, it was actually really good.

I would say Black Mirror, their shows touch on some deep stuff sometimes. Like ok spoiler alert for one small episode but one of my favorite episodes was about the army making technology that basically scrambles soldiers minds into thinking their killing monsters when their really people, so essentially legal genocide without all the hassle of emotion. With this technology it basically makes soldiers forget and tricks their mind into thinking their killing zombie like creatures or something.

It touched me deeply because if you look at war propaganda from earlier times you come to the sickening reaction that no matter what country you are from, to first kill someone you got to dehumanize them. You know every country does it and deep down that's scary.

I like Dicte. A Danish crime series. Scandinavian series seem to be a lot better than the Brittish or the American.
I'm glad it's subtitled though
Yeah, it is Norwegian. I don't think I have ever watched it myself though, but I have heard about it haha

@justanothergirlonearth It's worth a try. Really exciting, nice story lines and it's going to make you wanna visit Bergen, haha.
Haha okay, maybe I'll check it out some day. I doubt that Bergen part, but okay haha
house of cards- I love the political intrigue
