Which is the best Sci-Fi Series in recent times?

Justify yourself because I like to read opinions. Dr Who doesn't count because its a kids show and Game of Thrones is Fantasy.

"Recent times" is relative, but I'm probably going to catch hell for this..... I like "Andromeda" . I like the concept, and it's nice wholesome yet sexy escapism.....not too 'cerebral' because.......you know........ I have to watch out for that! 😉

I'm watching 'The Flash' now. It has all the superhero tropes, a really good story (the writers did a good job), I like the actors, also I love the crossover episodes where they bring heroes from other series like Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of tomorrow, so that's a blast to watch, all of them interacting with each other. The show has, drama, comedy, romance, a little bit of spookiness and some really intricate time travel theories (the flash can go back and forward in time) and variations of their lives, paralel universes and stuff.
I recommend it. 4 seasons and the 5th is coming out this october, so u got time to catch up.

@Tastyfrzz I can't wait for season three. Thomas Jane's bad acting annoyed me a bit and he's not how I imaged Miller. That's splitting hairs though cos it's a great series.

I would go for Battlestar Galactic because of the scope and depth.

Honourable mentions go to The Expanse for the compelling plot and of course Firefly for likeable characters.
