josh denny and stand up comedian on Food Network is in trouble.

'"Straight White Male" has become this century鈥檚 N-Word. It鈥檚 used to offend and diminish the recipient based on assumption and bias. No difference in the usage,' the 34-year-old tweeted.I
personally think people need to grow the hell up. This is an old joke and it is true... and the reaction he got proves it.

I know a lot of women who don't mind Straight White Males馃槢
You could start a Twitter storm with a nursery rhyme, its mega angry people in 140 characters
@bookerdana i am just too old and don't care any more. if i were still young, i would get in the car and go.
bookerdanaM
A car!! That pretty much narrows it down to Canada or Mexico because after that the mosquitoes and parasites will get you馃樁
Maybe a nice Cottage on the shores of Lake Erie near a small town.
It could happen!

I feel like this whole world could do with just chilling out for a couple of hours and taking a step back.
@UpsideOutInsideDown i agree. every morning i wake up and everyone is jumping down the throat of some celebrity for saying something that is deemed wrong by joe nobody. Maybe Joe Nobody is wrong. sometimes the truth comes out in a joke. and he is a stand up. it is his job.

@LILY61 Definitely. And people seem to ignore intention. Like sure, something might get said that's insensitive or stupid even, but if it isn't meant in a malicious way, then what are you getting mad at?? It's ridiculous
sorry this looks like a mess. i can't wake up.

@LILY61 It's readable and understandable. That's all that counts.

Typical white male....oh wait. Nevermind.
firefall61-69, M
I guess I dont get the joke
@firefall i didn't say it was a funny joke, but he was just commenting on todays prejudices and said something to the effect that saying "straight white male" has become the equivalent to saying the "N" word.
