Have you ever stopped buying a product just because you didn't like their ads or TV commercials?

I stopped eating at Carl's Jr. after their really disgusting low brow commercials came on TV, the ones that showed stupid acting teen boys slobbering on their hamburgers and dropping catsup and bits of food all over their clothes. Not only did it totally ruin my appetite for hours, it indicated to me that Carl's Jr. did not care about women or older people since their ads could only appeal to one demographic, young teen boys who have appetites strong enough to withstand such images.

I've become more determined not to get a mammogram, after hearing about a commercial supposedly promoting it. Not that other people shouldn't, but doctors are pushing it too hard IMO and they could do ultrasound instead if a woman is likely to have cancer.

@purplepen similar for me with the colon cancer screening thing. Seems like a big push, yes I know could save lives I understand that but I do not like money being pushed into promotions of things like that.

Yes, will never buy Progressive Insurance due to their commercials. Local car dealers commercials big turn off and there are some I would not go to due to this.

@Trenchycoat I currently have an auto policy with Progressive. That's the company I had in mind when I posted the comment below.

Yeah I stopped buying McCain’s oven chips because of their tv advert

Uhm I'm not influenced by commercials in a way or another, so, I don't think so.

I've seriously considered it
