Which movie "villain" do you sympathize with? If any?

I use "villain" loosely because I don't mean the character that opposes the hero necessarily or somebody who is actively evil. I just mean the bad guy. You know? The guy who doesn't do what's right all the time. I think it's a true testament to a character's writing when you are able to connect with them on a human level despite their shortcomings or immoral aspects.

For instance, my example is Tony Montana. Did he kill? Yes. Was he a drug addict? Yes. But he refused to shoot a woman and her children and started off on the straight path working at a taco truck. Once arriving in the US. Although there was the mention of the time he spent in prison in Cuba. But...he is full of raw humanity. He did what he had to reach the top and overcome his poverty. Do I agree with it? No. But it's reality. Many criminals resort to crime. It isn't always the first choice they make.

Most recently - Cottonmouth from the Luke Cage series.

He kind of had no choice but to inherit something he didn't really want. And I could understand his motivations to his extent; family, legacy, community, self-determination, etc. all things I work towards just in less than illegal ways lol.
