Frozen and Tarzan?

I don't know if canonizing that they have the same parents is real or not. But I don't get how that's possible when, based on technology of the 2 movies only, they are a few centuries apart. And I know Frozen is highly stylized low fantasy, but still, I find it interesting to place to try to put date on it. The most advanced tech I remember in Frozen were wooden ships, lighthouse, crossbow, a huge clock.

If someone thinks I'm wrong that the 2 settings don't exist at the same time then I'm all ears.

Then again, I'm talking about cartoons and it ruins people fun and fanfics I guess. It just bother me.
