I Hate Labels And Refuse To Label Myself

I remember I used to live by this mindset that I was “damaged” and “broken”. It was a label I accepted readily and without question. I realized that when I was older, I was ACTUALLY damaging myself by accepting those labels.
Basically my advice is don’t throw yourself into a category before you try changing yourself to become more positive. I don’t know. Just rambling.

I don't like labels either, at least not for people. Labels are useful for inanimate objects, plants, and animals, but I think they tend to limit people by putting them into little boxes, so that others can assume that they know all they need to know about them. I think that who we really are is probably far too complex for any label to cover, and we probably all have a lot that we need to learn about ourselves, and labels don't help with this at all.

So I think this is very good advice.
