I Am Stubborn
Stubborn - Hey That's Me!... For most people, they consider being stubborn a negative. I have always seen it as a positive trait. In fact if you say I'm as stubborn as a mule, I take it as a real compliment.
Stubbornness allows you to hold your course when others are clamoring for a change. Without mine, I never would have finished college nor survived many of the challenges I'v had to meet over the years. I've learned that people will always try to get you to do what they want you to do for them. Being stubborn allows you to better evaluate their requests and see which one is appropriate. Then you can tell all the others to take a flying leap, because you are the Captain of your ship, you're the Helmsman at the wheel, and you're the engineer with control of the boiler.When it comes down to it if you sail onto the rocks, you will be held accountable not the clamoring fools. So for all you stubborn people out there, hold fast to the wheel, stay on your course, and follow that star on til morning.
