I did last year, and I think I may tomorrow

I lost my hair to chemo last year. It was falling out, so I went to the hairstylist, she cut it as short as she could. Then my daughter shaved my head.
My hair has grown back, but curly. At first I was excited because I thought I got my mom’s curly hair...how dumb, of course not. They’re called “chemo curls”. I almost cried when I found out. People I knew told me my hair looked nice, as short and curly. I accepted it. It’s wash and wear, pretty much.
But now...no. I think I want a second kick at the can. I want to go bald again and see how it grows. And I have really nice wigs I want to wear 😁
And...it’s basically winter now, and said wigs will keep my head warm 🥰

Go for it, you’ve been through the shit, now do whatever it takes to be happy.
@Lapochka Exactly! My TMJ dentist’s assistant is so excited for me as my future plan is to tattoo my chest and the sides of my torso as I no longer have breasts, and I’m not doing reconstruction. And I’m going to get my piercings back 😌👍🏼

not everyone has Chemo curls (i am a stylist and have done alot of BC survivors hair)
it may come back curly or straight but it wont be as thick for a while
shaving bald maybe not to the razor but a close clipper cut may give you what you need.
