I Dreamed A Dream
I dreamed of a girl yesterday from a documentary I've watched the day before.
In the documentary she was very young and beautiful. But like many people that become homeless from abuse at home, they feel hopeless and use drugs to cope. She still had the mentality of a young child and already gave birth herself. I guess that really stuck with me.
Sometimes I think I could have ended up like this girl, because of the lack of support and love.
You have to really wonder how bad it is in someone's home that they'd rather choose a life on the streets. Once you go homeless it's hard to make it back, and by that I mean emotionally.
What do people really need? They need love and patients.
