I Dreamed A Dream

I dreamt I told my mom since she died my best friend stopped being friends with me. She said I didn't love him enough. I argued and told her that's not true. I loved him very much and would have done anything for him or to keep him in my life. She said if you had known he was Schizophrenic would you have been his friend? I said no, of course not, I couldn't have because it would have been too traumatic due to my experiences with other Schizophrenics and always finding out I could never trust them. I would have feared he would have hurt me, just like he did.
