I Want to See the Northern Lights

......Suddenly one lonely dark road I was driving on began to look as if there was lightening above me.I slowed down and looked up ahead, and millions of dancing , wavy colored flashes of zig-zag lighting was changing constantly above me!
I pulled over to the side of the road because it made me feel like I was losing my balance even though I knew I was sitting. I felt as if I was floating somewhere in my car. As I stopped, the dancing lights made such a beautiful show that it mesmerized me and I never have seen such night sky beauty again............

I've seen these once.

They are so beautiful but honestly 'beautiful' isn't enough to describe them. There's definitely something more going on then simply light....it's really energizing -watching them dance and streak across the sky. All green and purple….. fading away ….and then coming back suddenly, they really seem to dance! It's a lightshow like nothing else on earth.

The best I have seen are in Jan-March in Canada. The winters are still qite long so its dark by 8:30 or 9. To see all the colors is cool, like a moving rainbow.
