@Fiveholes Do people need to know their partner's account to stay away? Why isn't it enough to know they are taken?

@Miram they don't have access to the other account, just linked as saying they're a couple. Like mine and peaceful account would have a "in a relationship with peaceful" on the status and hers would say my name.

@Fiveholes Eh..There are many reasons as to why some people would not do so, including the fact that so many hold grudges and would go after the partner for the most trivial of things.

It's happened to me. Someone had an argument with him and started stalking me relentlessly and when I faced them with their motives and asked them to leave me alone, they tried to convince the community that I am harassing them.

To each their choices.

@Soossie That's the choice you make, but there are couples here freely announcing it and I believe they would do it. The outcome would be greater than the ones that don't agree because they're single.
