You are not alone. I have someone close who also engages. Everyone has bad days, some more and worse than others. It's just about letting them go through it without making them feel estranged by their feelings. Letting them feel it by the presence of another.

Ok, i know it's just a poem, but still ... It does seem really silly to expect that you can cut yourself and not have any pain afterwards 🙄 maybe go watch a fun movie instead, or go for a walk and get some exercise ... 😝
