At Christmas time, many Christians think about the sacrifice of Jesus. The mortal sacrifice of our military is similar....laying down their lives .

And doing so for a higher purpose. I think, during this season, we need to recognize this very real connection.

I am not going to put the military personnel in line with being a martyr - they are honorable people that are performing a job and they are paid to do it. -- Thats all.
